Local number portability is a government mandate that allows customers with eligible phone numbers to retain their phone numbers when changing service providers. |

Please complete the 'Letter of Authorization for Local Number Portability', which you'll receive in email after signup, and return to us together with a copy of your current phone bill, the pages which include the name, address and phone number, either by fax to (647)727-2002 or email to service@vintone.ca. We will take care of the rest. |

No, you must NOT cancel your service with your current local carrier because your number must remain active in order to be ported.
Please note: After the number porting has been successfully completed, you will no longer have service under that number with your previous provider. However, you may be responsible to your previous service provider for any contractual requirements and applicable charges. |

Before number porting is completed, you are only able to make calls from Vintone home phone, and your phone service with previous local carrier will keep working. Upon completion of the porting, you'll be able to make and receive calls from Vintone home phone.
If you are using DSL Internet (such as Bell), before the number porting process is finished, you need to call your current Internet provider to order dry loop to make sure your Internet does not get disconnected. If your Internet gets disconnected after the process, you may contact us or login to your web portal to temperarily forward your incoming calls to your cell phone or other numbers until your Internet is back to service. |

It normally takes about three to five business days from the date the customer submits the forms. The process can also be delayed or rejected if the information the customer has provided is not correct. |

Currently, we are offering our customers to transfer their numbers to Vintone free of charge. However, if customers cancel the number transfer within three business days of the due date or cancel Vintone service within three months from the date of service activation, a $25 number transfer fee will apply. |
